Summary of the All employee meeting (AEM)
1 February
This years first AEM was held on 1 February by Acting Head of School Ann Lantz. Among other things, she talked about the changes in the school's management. Read the summary and download the presentation here.
Ann Lantz informed that Sonja Berlijn at her own request ended her position as Head of School on 31 January and that Ann will step in as Acting Head of School from 1 February.
Lars Nordström – Head of the Division of Electric Power and Energy Systems (EPE) and Deputy Head of School – will be the Acting Head of School from Thursdays at noon and Fridays. An acting head of EPE will be appointed to step in for Lars during spring.

The incident in Kista
The Head of Administration, Joakim Palestro , talked about the bombing in Kista and the work that followed. He gave an update on the damage to the property and repair. You can find more details in the presentation.
KTH's employee survey
Joakim also gave a reminder of the employee survey that will be sent out via email on 7 February to all employees at KTH, employed for more than three months.
An anonymous link to the survey will be emailed from Populum from the address noreply@populum.io.

University administration – New name, same support
Since the merger of KTH's University administration, we are now called Verksamhetsstödet (VS) in Swedish and University Administration (UA) in English. The term GVS is no longer in use.
Financial statement 2022
Finance manager Karin Buzzi-Donato visited and reviewed the school's financial statements, including revenue, costs and results. You can see the details in the presentation.
Nominate an honorary doctor
Now you can nominate an honorary doctor. Honorary doctors are appointed to honour individuals who have made significant contributions to society and promoted activities at KTH. The nomination period is from 10 January–26 March.
EECS is looking for a new Director of First and Second Cycle Education
The assignment for the current Director of First and Second Cycle Education (GA), Ann Lantz, ends at the end of the year, and the school, therefore, needs to appoint a new GA. The assignment starts in the spring of 2023, and you apply by 28 February at the latest. Since Ann has stepped in as Acting Head of School, Markus Hidell has taken over as Acting Director of First and Second Cycle Education for a period.
