European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)
KTH is a part of five consortia in the EU initiative European institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT): Digital, InnoEnergy, Raw Materials, Health, and Urban Mobitiliy.

KTH has around 50 actives research centres, divided over the five schools. KTH divides these centres into seven subject areas: digitalisation, energy, industrial transformation, Life Science, materials, transport and sustainable development.

Strategic partnerships
KTH has a number of formalised strategic partnerships with large, global companies and with organisations in the public sector. Each partnership has one partner director and one partner manager.
