European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)

KTH is a part of five consortia in the EU initiative European institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT): Digital, InnoEnergy, Raw Materials, Health, and Urban Mobitiliy.

Research centres 

KTH has around 50 actives research centres, divided over the five schools. KTH divides these centres into seven subject areas: digitalisation, energy, industrial transformation, Life Science, materials, transport and sustainable development.

Support within strategic initiatives and collaboration

The group for strategic initiatives and collaboration provides support to KTH's centres, strategic research areas, research platforms, and research infrastructures. The group also manages research collaboration leadership training and networks for issues such as gender, impact, sustainable development, ethics, and data management.
