Dear all,

Based on the removal of the overall Covid-restrictions, KTH updated the guidelines last week.

Starting February 9th, all employees are expected to return to work on campus. The return is expected to be controlled and in dialogue with closest manager, meaning, the return is expected to be gradual and not immediate.

At the start of Teaching Period 4 (late March), we can assume that all teaching activities are returned on-campus. Only teaching activities that clearly benefit from a digital environment can still continue in a digital environment, all other activities are to be carried out on campus. Teaching activities during the remainder of period 3 can be carried out on campus if feasible from our and the student perspective.

Unit managers, research leaders, anyone inviting staff to meetings will decide whether the meeting is to be held on campus or remotely, depending on the purpose of the meeting and the expected involvement of participants.

The MMK policy is therefore, starting February 9th, that all MMK staff members are expected to spend the majority of their work week on campus.

I really look forward to our interactions and physical meetings again and hope that you share this.

Best,

Martin et al
