New Quizzes in Canvas (60 min)
In this workshop you will learn about New Quizzes in Canvas. The workshop covers different question types, settings for different assessment situations and how anonymous assessment of quizzes works.
A workshop can be ordered by everyone who is working at KTH.
Purpose
The purpose of the workshop is to give teachers the opportunity to learn how to use New Quizzes in Canvas to be able to carry out good digital teaching and anonymous assessment digitally.
Preparations
Feel free to bring an idea for a quiz you want to create in your course.
All participants should have access to a sandbox in Canvas to work in.
Time required
1 hour.
Learning objectives
After completing the workshop, participants should:
- Be able to use different question types in New Quizzes
- Be able to set appropriate settings for different uses of New Quizzes
- Be able to explain the differences between assignment settings and build settings for New Quizzes
- Be aware of opportunities for anonymous assessment of New Quizzes
- Know how assessment with New Quizzes works.
