Invitation

It is our pleasure to invite you to our 12th International Partnership Week at the DHBW Ravensburg. This event is organized by the International Office in cooperation with our Departments of International Business and Media Design and Faculty of Engineering.

The International Partnership Week provides our guests with the opportunity to meet colleagues, dealing with international mobility, from all over the world and to learn more about each other and our work within the field of international exchange. This time, we especially want to focus on the topic of digitalization in higher education. The pace and extent of digitalization has increased over the last decades. However, the pandemic placed a greater emphasis on remote working, virtual learning and e-processes, which required an accelerated approach to introducing digital solutions.

Our aim is to facilitate discussions on the following: How has the digital landscape changed at your university in recent years? What are the benefits and constraints of digital solutions? Is digitalization in all areas desirable? Which areas are better or less suited for digitalization? Which impact does digitalization have on academic relationships? What role does digitalization play in tackling climate change? What impact do you expect artificial intelligence to have on the academic environment? What measures are needed to govern the use of artificial intelligence? What examples of best and worst practice does your university have in the area of digitalization? What are the digital goals for your university in the future?

We hope to experience an interesting exchange of ideas and different approaches to the topic of digitalization in higher education.
