Here are the candidates for ITM's Faculty Board
46 candidates have been nominated and the Nomination Committee has made its decision. The list of their proposals for the ITM School's Faculty Board is now available, along with additional eligible candidates. The Nomination Committee* is impressed by the commitment of the school.
As of 1 January next year, new faculty boards will be in place and operational at each school. During the autumn, 46 candidates have been nominated for the ITM school's board and a nomination committee has had the task of selecting six of these as their proposals; an extensive task led by Kristina Nyström at INDEK:
"We can see that there is a great deal of commitment to school-wide issues in the ITM school," she says. "We have had the privilege of getting in touch with many competent, innovative and co-operative candidates who want to pursue both practical and strategic issues in education, research and collaboration. Our work has therefore mainly focused on compiling a well-balanced group that includes different experiences, roles and interests".
Of the 46 nominations received, 28 agreed to participate in the process, 25 of which submitted written personal presentations. The Nomination Committee then conducted interviews with ten of these, finally arriving at six people whom they propose to form the ITM School's Faculty Board. However, the choice lies with the eligible staff of the ITM School. In an electronic election on 4-10 December, as many as 15 candidates are eligible.
Teacher members of school faculty boards are to be elected for the period 1 January 2024-31 December 2026. Voting will take place electronically on 4-10 December 2023.
