Products and services that can be ordered when recruiting technical and administrative staff are set out below.

Competence-based recruitment process

  • The tenderer shall offer a recruitment process that includes at least the following:
  • Planning of a schedule jointly with KTH.
  • Drawing up of a requirements profile in collaboration with KTH.
  • Designing a job advertisement jointly with KTH and giving advice on relevant advertising channels.
  • Receiving applications and being the initial contact point for candidates.
  • Selecting candidates.
  • Carrying out telephone interviews with selected candidates, cross-checking salary expectations and notice periods.
  • If the advertising period is extended, updating candidates who have already applied for the post in question.
  • Carrying out the first interviews in accordance with the competence-based recruitment method.
  • Presenting candidates (at least two).
  • Once KTH has approved the selected candidates, booking them for second interviews (these interviews are to be carried out by KTH).
  • Requesting any certificates/diplomas/etc. missing from the application and required in any appointment of the candidates progressing to the final step in the recruitment process.
  • Taking up of references (at least two references for the final candidate, one from a manager and one from a colleague). Providing KTH with written feedback on the references.
  • Following-up the recruitment with both customer and candidate (roughly two to three months after the candidate has started at KTH and once more, if necessary, before the probationary appointment expires at 6 months).

In international recruitments, the entire process shall be conducted in English.

Search recruitment assignments

The tenderer shall offer a competence-based search service covering all the elements included in the points under Competence-based recruitment process above.
Searching markets and networks to find suitable candidates who can apply for advertised positions at KTH shall also be included. Additionally, the tenderer shall contact suitable, selected candidates and market the post in question.

Second opinion

The tenderer shall offer a second-opinion service that includes at least the following:

  • Reviewing requirements specifications jointly with KTH.
  • In-depth interview as per the competence-based recruitment method.
  • Carrying out any psychological tests that KTH assesses as relevant for the appointment (see the test completion requirements below).
  • Taking up of references and providing KTH with written feedback thereon.
  • Providing the candidate and KTH with oral feedback on the results of the selected psychological tests for employment.
  • Input and coaching on the choice of final candidate.

In international recruitments, the holding and giving of interviews, tests and feedback shall be in English.

Parts of the recruitment process that can be ordered separately

It shall be possible to order the following parts of the recruitment process separately.

  • Job advertisement design.
  • Help with reviewing selected candidates and picking out the ones that KTH should take further in the process.
  • In-depth interviews.
  • A search service where, after candidates have been tracked down, KTH takes care of the rest of the recruitment process. The search service is to include searching markets and networks to find suitable candidates who can apply for advertised positions at KTH. Additionally, the tenderer shall contact suitable, selected candidates and market the post in question.
  • Taking up of references and providing KTH with written feedback thereon.
  • Carrying out any psychological tests as per the test completion requirements below.
  • Advice and consultation sessions with recruitment consultants (for support in parts of the process).

In international recruitments, the process parts as per the points above shall be conducted in English.

Psychological tests for employment

Psychology tests are part of Second Opinion and can also be called as a separate service.

  • Reviewing requirements specifications jointly with KTH.
  • Booking in each candidate who is to take the test(s).
  • In-depth interview and feedback with/to each candidate regarding the results of the test(s).
  • Feedback of test results to the commissioner.
  • In international recruitments, the holding and giving of interviews, tests and feedback shall be in English.
  • In each order, the supplier and KTH shall agree which of the supplier’s employees is to carry out the tests and exactly how feedback is to be given.
