Saco-S at KTH protects the rights and interests of its members through review and negotiation of local agreements.
What kind of things are regulated through local collective agreements?
- Salaries – the salary review, criteria for salary setting and the salary setting process
- Parental allowance supplement – complements parental benefit to up to 90 % of the salary
- Holidays – more than the legal requirement of 25 days
- Compensation in case of illness – complements sickness allowance from day 15 to 365 to up to 90% of the salary
- Occupational pension – the employer makes payments every month for your future pension
The number of local agreements for our workplace could be increased further. For instance, the board has been involved in local negotiations about salaries for doctoral students, parental salary, wellness allowance and wellness hour, compensation for medicine and hospital care, on-call work and its terms, the local finance scheme for transition and retraining (omställningsmedel) etc.
