Taxi, receipts and insurance: Three changes for travelers

1. Old receipts will be invalid

2. Updated taxi agreement

KTH is also updating the taxi agreement, and before everything is settled, you can book your taxi journey from and to an airport or train station with Egencia. All other taxi journeys you can book with the company of your choice, preferably with members from Svenska taxiförbundet www.taxiforbundet.se

3. New insurance conditions for business travel

From January 1, 2020, the insurance conditions for business travels will change. We asked Rebecca Ljungkvist, Travel Coordinator at ITM, what the most important differences to keep in mind are:

“The compensation for deductibles has increased from SEK 6,000 to SEK 8,000. Also, the disability and death benefits must be regulated within one year and six months from the accident instead of the previous three years. In addition, you do no longer receive compensation for private property that has been damaged by leaked liquid or other liquid substance."
