This information is for you who is editor or webmaster for one of the ITM School's web pages. Learn about accessibility or how to work with the navigation on your page, get in touch with other editors and find out when next Editors' Network Session is.
This is how we do it at KTH
It can be a hazzle to pick a module for a specific page, write good headlines, write linktexts in a uniform way and pick the right image format.
We have gathered the most important guidelines in order to make the web as uniform as possible.
The need for accessibility has always existed, but the requirements have been significantly increased with the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Service (DOS Act).
Responsibility on you as an editor
Make sure that new and existing content complies with the law. Review PDFs and ensure videos on "your pages" are texted.
No matter if you or someone else takes the photo it is important to understand what messages the image carries. Gender and diversity are also aspects to be aware of.
2-4 times per year ITM's editors gather for information sharing and workshops. The Coordinator of the ITM School's websites invites to the meetings and the aims are to share experiences, influence technology development and layout, develop and exchange knowledge about web publishing.
