Purpose

This workshop is made up of several explanatory elements that are followed by the participants being able to follow the recommendations that are available for assessment in Canvas.

We will start by explaining the creation of assignments designed for assessment, including how asignments are most easily distributed between different teachers. After the assignment has been created, the participants takes on the student role and test submitting a file. Then they practice assessing submitted files anonymously and in hidden mode in SpeedGrader.

We round off by looking at how the results can be transferred with the Transfer to Ladok function and leave time for questions.

Preparations

All participants need an empty Canvas Room, a sandbox , to be able to perform the tasks and a PDF of their choice that they can share.

It is also useful to have two screens, for example by having a smart phone or tablet in addition to the computer. The second screen is to show the instructions while working on the first.
