Use Transfer to Ladok from examination or course rooms

KTH Transfer to Ladok can be used both from examination rooms and from course rooms in Canvas. These rooms have a connection to Ladok. From the examination room you can transfer to the Ladok module for which the examination is created, and from the course room you can choose which Ladok module you should transfer to.

The assignment must use letter grade

It is only possible to transfer results that have the letter grade format that corresponds to the grading scale for the module in Ladok. It is also possible to transfer the "Total" column in the gradebook if the course's assessment schedule is enabled.

For guidance on how to set letter grades, see the page Letter grades and grading schemes .

Results must be published

You can only transfer results (grades in Canvas) if they have been published in Canvas.

For guidance on how to publish results, see the page Posting grades and quiz results .

Non-transferable data

  • Results from Classic Quizzes cannot be transfered because it is not possible to set letter grades for Classic Quizzes.
  • Examination points cannot be transferred.

Limitations on transferring failed results

Failed results are not transferred to Ladok if the student already has a certified failed result. These results need to be handled manually in Ladok. However, if the student's new result is a passing grade, it is possible to transfer.

The results are transferred to drafts in Ladok

Anonymous written exams in the fall of 2024

During the fall of 2024, in consultation with GA, the possibility of conducting anonymous assessment of written proctored examinations will be carried out. Read more about anonymous assessment under How to implement anonymous assessment at KTH .

Transfer to Ladok transfers the results so that they become drafts in Ladok. When you are done, you need to mark the grades as ready and certify them in Ladok so that they become official and communicated to the students.

Transfer to Ladok also works for anonymous proctored exams

If you conduct an anonymous proctored exam and then import the exams into Canvas for assessment, you can transfer the results to Ladok as usual. Please note that the results (grades in Canvas) must be published before you use Transfer to Ladok.

When the results are published in Canvas, you will see the students' identities. Therefore, make sure to publish the results only when you have fully completed your assessment.
