Description

When the case has been thoroughly investigated, a proposal shall be prepared for a decision using a template for decisions concerning approved leave from studies, see templates 1-2. Decisions that reject the application of approved leave from studies must be justified and should include a reference to an appeal (see template 2). This applies even in cases where a student’s application is only partially approved and the decision can be considered a denial of the student’s request, for example if leave from studies is approved for a shorter time-frame than applied for.

Please note! Standardized texts are a useful and time-saving aid. However, it must be emphasized that the use of templates and standardized texts always requires thorough proof-reading and for necessary corrections to be made in the document prior to sending any decision.
