Guidelines for summative assessment at KTH

Even without pandemic restrictions and with restored furnishings after February 9, KTH's scenario “LOW” is the new normal as it says on the page :

"Teaching and examination where students' learning and the opportunity to achieve intended learning outcomes, and which benefit from being conducted in the digital environment, continues to be conducted digitally. Other teaching and examinations are conducted on campus."

Digital tools to facilitate the assessment

E-learning has developed two tools to facilitate assessment work.

KTH Import Exams

Now all teachers at KTH can assess written on-campus examinations in Canvas using the KTH Import Exams function. Work is underway to get the administrative processes that need to be in place for the function to be automatically installed in all examination rooms. If you are interested in assessing your exams digitally, you can read more about what the automatic access looks like and how the function works on the intranet page about Scanned exams to Canvas .

KTH Transfer to Ladok

Once the assessment is complete, the result can be transferred securely to Ladok using the KTH Transfer to Ladok function. read more on the intranet page about Transferring grades from Canvas to Ladok .

Book a workshop

If you or your teaching team/unit want to learn about the functions KTH Import Exams and/or KTH Transfer to Ladok, Book a personal guidance or workshop with presentation and question time about digital assessment in Canvas. Contact e-learning@kth.se .

Funka's recommendations regarding support during examination

If you get questions about extra re-examination for P2

KTH informed students in connection with examination period P2 that KTH will possibly offer extra examination sessions in addition to the regular re-examination period. If you get questions about this, you can refer to that KTH will provide information about it when the registration for the re-examination opens (March 17-31).

Before that, KTH will evaluate the examination period for P2, among other things, by assessing the students' results, opinions and reflections from a form that the students can fill in and which is addressed to the study boards for each section of the Student Union THS. Read more in the article "KTH is evaluating whether there will be an extra examination opportunity" (Student web) .
