Salary review and salary dialogues
As a manager, you play a central role in KTH’s annual salary review. This includes conducting individual salary dialogues with your employees focusing on work performance and salary criteria. The process follows a set schedule, where HR is available for support if needed.
Salary dialogues with your employees
Before KTH's annual salary review, you as a manager must offer your employees individual salary dialogues. This is a dialogue focused on the employee's work performance and results based on the applicable salary criteria.
The salary review process starts in September and follows a given timeline with important deadlines to adhere to.
What applies to this year's salary review?
HR will inform you about which of your employees are included in this year's salary review. For example, employees who have started their employment or received a new employment contract after 1 May are not included in the salary review for that year.

Feedback for Saco members and others
Once the salary proposals for all of KTH have been submitted and registered in the HR system, you will have salary-setting dialogues with Saco members, usually in October. For the other employees you give motivation of their new salary level in December, before the December pay slip is issued.
Development dialogue as a starting point
A support tool for the salary review process is the development dialogue held in the spring. It can serve as a foundation and starting point for the salary dialogue. You can also get support from HR regarding salary review and salary dialogues.
