Core questions
The overall Pulse Index landed at 67, which is unchanged compared to the previous period. The results confirm a stable situation where strengths in the work environment are maintained, but where some areas continue to show a need for improvement.
Employees particularly highlight enthusiasm, “We have a positive working climate at our workplace” (73) and inclusion, “I feel community at the workplace” (72), both of which are clearly above average. Autonomy, “I have the mandate to make the decisions necessary in my role” (70) and clarity around responsibilities, “My tasks and areas of responsibility are clear to me” (70) also continue to score highly, indicating that many experience a clear mandate in their roles and a strong sense of community at work. These strengths are important to preserve in order to secure long-term engagement.
Workload and work-life balance remain the lowest-scoring areas, even though they show slight improvements compared to the previous survey. Recognition, “I feel appreciated and noticed for my contribution to the organization” (64) and development, “I have the opportunity to develop in my work” (66) also rank somewhat lower and show slight declines compared to the previous measurement. This may indicate that issues related to recognition and long-term development opportunities need more attention.
The survey confirms a stable work environment with strengths in climate, inclusion, and autonomy, but also with persistent challenges regarding workload and balance.
Theme area: Physical Work Environment
Particularly high scores are seen for questions on safety regulations, “We act in accordance with our safety requirements and safety regulations” (79) and fire safety, “I feel that fire protection in the premises where I work is good” (80) showing that employees feel secure in the fundamental safety systems. At the same time, indoor climate/ventilation, “The ventilation and indoor climate at my workplace are good” (53) and noise/disturbing sounds, “My workplace is satisfactory with reference to noise or disturbing sounds” (63) are significantly lower and stand out as clear areas for improvement. Workplace facilities such as meeting rooms and lecture halls (62) also rank lower than other aspects.
The physical work environment shows large contrasts: safety and security are rated highly, but climate, noise, and the functionality of premises require further development.
