Newsmail #46, 2023-01-23

In my last newsmail. Before the holidays, I mentioned a visit by the new rector to MMK. The date is now set to March 17, afternoon. The Rector, Anders Söderholm, has asked to meet staff, as many employees as possible. We need to set the details for this visit, but please mark the date already now in your calendar, and wait for a formal invite with all details. We’ll plan for a meeting where we can both introduce ourselves, our department, and get to know the new rector. Depending on how many accepts the invite, we will either meet in the Studio, or elsewhere.

The new semester is fully up and running. The HK-corridor is getting populated with new students and projects. Last year’s projects in the labhall are getting removed to make place for this year’s projects. The PhD students of MMK met last week for pizza to discuss working environment and future plans. All in all, it seems that the building will be full of life again this semester.
