Systems and tools for education at KTH

Here you will find information and guides for the digital tools that KTH uses for educational activities.

System support before, during, and after a course offering

Below you will find links to more information about KTH’s digital systems and tools, organized according to different phases of the educational process. Further down the page, you will also find a more detailed, chronological overview for teachers on how these systems can be used throughout the entire process of running a course.

General systems and tools

Microsoft 365
Automatically activated for all active students and employees at KTH, providing access to Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote), cloud storage via OneDrive, as well as web-based tools and apps for both computer and mobile.

Generative AI in higher education
As a university, KTH must consider how generative AI affects student learning, both positively and negatively. How can we use generative AI in an ethical, legal, and academically honest way? And how can we reliably assess students’ knowledge in this new digital era? There is also guidance for teachers on how to talk to students about AI, as well as how to create course-specific information about AI in Canvas and the course memo.
